Janet O’Connell is a long time resident of Virginia, with a passion for bringing family members back together. She created Reconcile Ready Mediation in 2023 after seeing a need for mediation services for family members who were once close but are now estranged. She had a successful 35 year federal government career, and has been a certified mediator through the Virginia Supreme Court since 2011. She is dedicated to helping people work through their disagreements. In the past, she has mediated a variety of disputes such as employment/workplace, landlord/tenant, and small claims court cases including consumer/business issues. Since many of these cases involved family members, she became interested in family conflicts. She decided to study family disputes and focus her practice on bringing family members back together.
